Hey guys, Scott Dickey, BigYield.us East Coast Division here. I’d like to talk to you guys a little bit today about the up and coming growing and planting season. Before we discuss that, I’d like to take a minute and thank each and every one of our growers, our farmers, our producers, and our partners. In is this time of uncertainty and chaos, both globally and nationally with this pandemic, you guys have continued to purchase BigYield products and allowed us the opportunity to be on your farm and help you increase and enhance your yield. So from the team at BigYield, we want to say thank you for your business and thank you for the privilege of being on your farm.
With that being said, let’s talk about planting. With regards to corn, a lot of you guys, if you aren’t already in the field or aren’t ready to go in the field, we’d like to see you guys start with using our BigYield big coat plus zinc seed treatment. Its 9 essential nutrients helps with your germination, quicker emergence, and an overall healthier root system that will help that plant take off and get up and going.
If you’re doing a foliar or an overtop application, we’d like to see you guys use one quart of Yield Booster mixed together with our Big Sweet Yield. Apply them both at v3-v7, and again, if your program allows, at r1-r3, that is if you have access to an airplane or helicopter so you can spray.
If you are running the In-Furrow system, we’d like to use again 1 pound of Big Sweet Yield mixed with our 3-18-18 food grade fertilizer. The rates are going to be determined by your CEC levels, so you’ll wanna check with your local agronomist or BigYield representative or you might already know what those rates are, but if not, you can reach out to us and we will help you with those rates. We had a lot of success BP In-Furrow
Moving on to soybeans, we’ like to see you guys take the same strategy with the soybeans as you do with the corn. We’d like you to start with our BigYield Coat soy seed treatment. Get those seed coated in the ground, and from there we’d like you to apply a quart of Yield Booster along with a pound of Big Sweet Yield. We’d like to see that applied at v3-v7, then repeat at r1-r3 or bloom. That is when the soybean plant is determining whether it has enough energy tp abort pods or to create more pods. Of course, with that shot of energy that you’ll get from the Yield Booster combined with the Big Sweet Yield, you’ll be able to put more pods on your plant, thus creating big yields.
Those are our recommendations and protocols for the upcoming planting and growing season, if you have any questions you can reach out to us at BigYield.us or call us a call. Thanks guys have a great day and be safe.
