Hey everybody, this is David Yoder coming to you from Garden City here on the research farm for BigYield.us. I’m here to talk to you a little bit about organic production. We’ve got a whole line of products including our dry seed treatments which is BigYield Coat corn and BigYield Coat soy. Those products have done really well for us on the organic side, and In-Furrow products we’re running Yield Topper which is a liquid chicken litter. We’re running both In-Furrow and foliar, and we’re also bringing in our Big Sweet Yield along with that.
Last year we used about 4 ton on our corn, I had some beans and I put about 2 tons of dry litter on, and it did really well raising 60 plus bushel beans. With our weeds and pest problems, we’re burning 1-2 times a year depending on weed pressure and what mother nature allows us. If we can’t cultivate, we may burn another time, so we’ll see how it goes this year.
Last year was a rough year with all the wet weather, and hopefully we’ll get some better weather this year and have another great year. This is David Yoder signing off with BigYield.us.
